Zaboo was born out of the need to have someone in your important places who can inform you of what is happening or happened. This video will explain a little more about the project.
Let's start with the features and then I will briefly explain how each of them works and the best part, how you can integrate with the Zaboo ecosystem.
- Locate and find objects and people Indoor: With Zaboo you can find out where your personal belongings are located with a simple message, and if you lost your cell phone... you can ask Alexa.
- Know the status of some things in your house: Let's say you want to know if you left the windows closed or if someone came in while you were away. Or something as simple as knowing if your dog still has food.
- Control certain things in your house: Zaboo helps you if you need to turn on, turn off or change certain things in your house. Do you want everything to turn off when you leave your house? Or do you like your pet to feel accompanied and have light only where it is?

Let's start with a more technical part where I will show you how Zaboo works. To find the personal objects we have the TAGs (which are small devices that are placed on the people or objects that we are going to track).
TAGs make packet advertisements through BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) protocol. These messages have different information such as the TAG name, the Manufacturer, and the MAC address.
The stations receive the information and consolidate it and send it to a server in the cloud, which is responsible for deciding where the object is located in real time through Data Labeling and prior knowledge of the positions.
A virtual machine is running a script in charge of receiving requests from user messages and querying the database to relate the objects being searched with the estimated position.
This second script is also in charge of publishing by MQTT any control data that is needed, like turning on and off some device or opening and closing something that is needed.
